Zendaya recently expressed her lingering disappointment over losing on Dancing With the Stars in 2013. Despite her high scores throughout the season, she and partner Val Chmerkovskiy were defeated by Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough. Zendaya, who was only 16 at the time, found the experience highly stressful and wishes she had enjoyed it more. She no longer watches the show and has not done so since her season. Chmerkovskiy also shared his heartbreak over not winning with Zendaya, but acknowledges that her time on DWTS jump-started her successful career in Hollywood.
