It sold for an impressive $5.5 million
The iconic "Home Alone" house in Winnetka, Illinois, sold for $5.5 million, nearly $300,000 over its asking price. The 9,126-square-foot Georgian-style home, featured in the 1991 film, boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and luxury amenities. The buyers, represented by Lori Nieman, are excited to own a piece of cinematic history and create new memories in the iconic house. In 2021, fans had the opportunity to stay in the house for one night through Airbnb.
