Critics were calling her shows 'offensive'

Sabrina Carpenter has responded to criticism from Mike Stock, Matt Aitken, and Pete Waterman regarding her image. Waterman specifically called out Carpenter for dressing in a way he finds offensive, while Stock criticized her lyrics as "lazy." Carpenter defended her right to embrace her sexuality and criticized the double standards faced by female artists. Despite the backlash, Carpenter has continued to achieve success, earning six Grammy nominations and receiving praise from Trent Reznor. She is set to embark on a UK and European tour in the spring with Rachel Chinouriri as a special guest.
