Netflix To Release 'Beyoncé Bowl' NFL Halftime Performance As Standalone Special

Netflix reported strong viewership numbers for its Christmas Day NFL football games and Beyoncé halftime show, reaching nearly 65 million viewers in the U.S. alone. Despite this success, Netflix stock fell by 2.9% on Friday. The streaming video leader's first NFL game had an average minute audience of 24.1 million U.S. viewers, while the second game drew 24.3 million viewers. Beyoncé's performance attracted over 27 million viewers in the U.S., and Netflix plans to release global ratings and additional U.S. insights on December 31.
