'Edits' will be available in February

The TikTok ban in the US has also affected other ByteDance-owned services, such as the popular CapCut video editor. In response, Instagram has announced the upcoming launch of Edits, a free video-editing mobile app. Edits will offer tools for creating Reels on the go, with features like custom text, multiple audio tracks, stickers, special effects, and more. The app will integrate with Instagram, providing insights on Reels performance and inspiration for content creation. iOS users can pre-order Edits on the Apple App Store for its February launch, with availability on Google's Play Store coming soon.
