Mac Miller's estate has released his second posthumous album
Mac Miller’s estate has released “Balloonerism,” the second posthumous album from the late rapper since his death in 2018, along with a short film directed by Samuel Jerome Mason on Prime Video. The album showcases Miller in experimental mode, with tracks like “5 Dollar Pony Rides” and the 12-minute finale “Tomorrow Will Never Know.” Fans had long speculated about “Balloonerism,” with leaked songs circulating online, but the official release fulfills Miller’s vision for the project. The album was teased at Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival and is described as an important showcase of Miller’s musical talents and fearlessness as an artist. The release includes a short film produced by Miller’s indie label Remember Music and Warner Records, directed by Samuel Jerome Mason.
