Jennifer Lopez reportedly balked at Bruno Mars’ staggering $5 million fee for a 45-minute performance at her planned wedding to Alex Rodriguez, calling it “ridiculous.” According to celebrity wedding planner Marcy Blum, Lopez had inquired about hiring the Grammy-winning artist but quickly dismissed the idea upon hearing the cost.
Lopez and Rodriguez, who began dating in 2017 and got engaged in 2019, had originally planned a lavish wedding in Italy for 2020. However, the pandemic forced them to postpone the event, and the couple ultimately ended their engagement in 2021. Following their split, Lopez rekindled her romance with Ben Affleck, whom she married in 2022. Their marriage ended in divorce by 2024.
