The New York State Liquor Authority has approved an extension of hours for wine and liquor sales in Albany County. The new hours will be from 8 a.m. to midnight Monday through Saturday, with Sunday hours remaining from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The extension aims to provide more flexibility for store owners and customers. Albany County had previously allowed sales from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with different hours during certain periods. The county followed the necessary procedures to request the hour changes, which were approved by the SLA Commissioner.
