Lady Gaga won Artist of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards and gave a quick speech thanking her fans and fiancé before rushing off to perform at Madison Square Garden. The VMAs took place at UBS Arena in New York, while Gaga's concert was in Manhattan, just over 18 miles away. This performance is part of her "The Mayhem Ball" tour, which started in July and will end in January. Gaga's win at the VMAs beat out other big names like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé.
